Glacier National Park
Whitefish Mountain Resort is only 31 miles from Glacier National Park - part of the Crown of the Continent. Both summer and winter offer numerous opportunities to explore Glacier's many lakes, trails and view wildlife.
In the summer, drive or take a ride on the red bus tour on the Going-to-the-Sun Road, hike on 700 miles of trails to lakes, waterfalls and glaciers. And don't forget the wildlife! While Glacier is known for its grizzly bear population, you've got a good chance of seeing mountain goats high on the ridges and the hundreds of birds and small mammals that occupy the various habitats in the park.
In the winter, Glacier National Park turns into your own private winter wonderland. Enormous snow-covered mountains and intensely quiet forests await you on one of our guided cross-country skiing or snow shoeing tours. Give us a call at 877-SKI-FISH for more information.
